Hazard reduction is a complex task involving important efforts to prevent and mitigate the consequences of disasters. Many countries around world have experienced devastating wildfires in recent decades risk strategies are now more than ever. Reducing contiguous areas high fuel load through prescribed burning management strategy for reducing wildfire hazard. Unfortunately, this has an impact on habitat fauna thus constrains schedule which also subject uncertainty. To address problem mathematical programming model proposed scheduling burns treatment units landscape over planning horizon. The takes into account uncertainty related conditions performing scheduled as well several criteria safety quality habitat. This multiobjective stochastic modelled from risk-averse perspective whose aim minimize worst achievement different scenarios considered. applied real case study Andalusia (Spain) comparing solutions achieved with risk-neutral solution provided by simple weighted aggregated average. results obtained show that our approach outperforms cases without significant loss global set scenarios. • Devastating make Prescribed reduces hazard, but it fauna.
